About Us

Fleetwood Speckle Park is owned and operated by us, Cassie & Dave along with our two daughters Lilly & Delilah.

Dave's family have farmed (cash crop and all types of livestock) for many generations. We started with beef cows in 2012 and recently added meat birds and laying hens to our operation.

Firstly, we breed Speckle Park cattle for seed stock (animals for other breeders to purchase and add to their herds). We then started a freezer beef program with the animals that didn't meet our breeding stock requirements.

Our beef is ethically and sustainable raised in Elgin County by our family for your family! What does that actually mean?

• Our cows are out on grass as long as humanely possible (we bring them into the barn when conditions become cold and wet, usually Nov/Dec).
• We utilize intensive rotational grazing to maximize the number of cows we have on pasture and to allow the pasture to rest between grazing periods - the best option for cattle and the land!
• Grass fed - our cattle are on fresh pasture from May - Sept and are fed hay from Oct - Apr.
• Grain Finished - Our freezer beef program involves a balance of grains with free choice hay available 24/7.
